Never fail Chocolate Cake

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 t. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa
dash salt
1 cup oil
`1 cup water
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix well.  Pour into greased 9x13 baking pan.  Bake at 350 
degrees for 40 minutes.
 
 

 Fudge Frosting

1/2 stick oleo
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 t. vanilla

Bring to boil and boil 1 minute; remove from heat.  Stir in vanilla.  Beat until thick enough to spread on the cake.
