My UNstuffed Cabbage Roll Casserole
 

1 large, solid head of cabbage, shredded or chopped
1 pound ground chuck, browned crumbled and loose
2 cups cooked rice
1 quart Marinara Sauce
salt & pepper to taste; add other seasonings as you like






Mix meat and rice.

Prepare casserole dish large enough to hold all by coating with olive oil - size of dish is dependent on how much you make.

Layer one-third of cabbage in baking dish; lay.

Layer one-half of meat-rice mixture on cabbage.

Sprinkle with seasonings.

Layer half of remaining cabbage.

Layer rest of meat-rice mixture on cabbage.

Layer rest of cabbage.

Pour Marinara over all.

Cover and store in frig until ready to cook.

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
